Custom User-Agent Block
What It Means
The user agent of this request matches a user agent on your WAF’s blocklist.
Why It Matters
User agent rules let you stop specific clients, such as scripts, scrapers, or HTTP libraries, by the name they send with each request.
Common Triggers
A client whose user agent matches a rule you or your team added. Broad patterns can match more clients than intended, including legitimate integrations.
What To Do
If this block is unexpected, review your rules on the Traffic Rules > Custom User-Agents page of the WAF dashboard. See Blocking User Agents. Remove or narrow the rule if it matches traffic you want to allow.
