Other

What It Means

This request was blocked but does not fall into one of the more specific block code categories.

Why It Matters

The “Other” category captures blocks from newer rules, edge cases, or situations where multiple detection methods contributed to the block decision. The request was still identified as a threat and stopped before reaching your application.

Common Triggers

Requests that triggered newer security rules that have not yet been assigned a specific block code, or requests that were blocked by a combination of factors rather than a single clear signature.

What To Do

If you see a significant number of “Other” blocks and need to understand what is being stopped, review the request details in your WAF logs. Contact support at support@expeditedsecurity.com if you need help interpreting specific blocked requests.
